South Pasadena, CALIFORNIA

Cinematic nighttime couples photos in South Pasadena, California near the Michael Myers House. Flash photography, street scenes, and documentary-style moments captured in Los Angeles before a wedding.

the night before their wedding didn’t feel like nerves, it felt like joy. like everything had already landed where it needed to, and now there was nothing left to do but enjoy the moment. just them, running through quiet streets in South Pasadena, holding onto and laughing with each other.

we started outside the official myers house. a little eerie, a little cinematic. a lot too freakin cool. I loved that they were just being their authentic selves! they were laughing, spinning and pulling eachother in close.

as we moved through the streets, that energy followed. crossing the road between passing trains, stopping under yellow streetlights, pausing just long enough to feel it before moving again. we honestly walked sooo much during this little session, lmao! but the glow, the motion, the blur… it all built into something that already felt nostalgic, like a memory, while it was still happening. we prioritized moments unfolding in real time. I just kept up with them.

this is what these in-between sessions hold. not the timeline, not the expectations, not the structure. just the energy of being right there, right before everything changes, and knowing you’re already inside it. i follow that feeling wherever it shows up, and document it as it moves.
